Great expression. Oh, it's really a good expression. Did you ever work with somebody, but you did all the work? Oh, doesn't that make you mad? Well, then you need today's expression.

Today's expression is pull your weight. P-U-L-L, pull, pull, not pull, pull, pull. Pull your, Y-O-U-R, weight, W-E-I-G-H-T. So your weight, you can think of your body weight.
So for me, I'm, I don't know, 165 pounds. I have no idea, 75 kilograms, something like that. means to do my job, to fulfill my responsibility. We use this expression when we have a team.
So it could be a sports team, it could be a study team, a group team, it could be at work, a group project, a team project. And you understand, let's say you have four people on a team, whether it's sports, study, or work. And each person on the team has a job, a responsibility.
But many times, there's always that one guy who doesn't do his job. Everybody else is doing their job, but one guy doesn't do his job, and the other people have to help him or have to do it for him.
That guy is not pulling his weight. Check out the dialogue. Oh, no. Is John on our team? Yeah, why? He never pulls his weight. Really? He seems like a hard worker.
Why is that? Why is the guy that never pulls his weight, he talks so much. It's like he's the team leader, but he never does anything. Ugh. I hate those people.
I'm sorry. I do. Be responsible. I understand. Sometimes you're tired. Sometimes you don't like the work. In that situation, quit. Move on. Tell your teammates, look, I'm sorry, guys.
I'm not motivated. I can't do it. Tell them. But hey, the fact of the matter is if you're on a team, you need to pull your weight. You need to do what you're supposed to do.
You need to make other people happy and satisfied with your work. You need to fulfill your responsibilities, right? Absolutely. So tell me, are you pulling your weight at work?
Yeah? Yeah. Are you pulling your weight at home? Yeah. Are you helping out at home? Are you helping out at work? Do you have a group, maybe a team or some sort of club?
Are you pulling your weight there? It is hard to pull your weight every place. But just let people know when you're not able to pull your weight, the best thing to do is to tell people, look, I'm sorry, this week I've got so many other things.
I just am not going to be able to pull my weight. Please excuse me. And you know what? People are going to like you. And then when you come back, you can pull your weight and people are going to love you.
There you go. That's today's expression, everybody. Enjoy it. Practice two more times. Oh, no. Is John on our team? Yeah, why? He never pulls his weight.
Really? He seems like a hard worker. Oh, no. Is John on our team? Yeah, why? He never pulls his weight. Really? He seems like a hard worker. Thanks so much for listening.
