Enjoy. Let's go back in time. Today's expression is, lay it on me. Lay it on me. Lay it on me. Ooh, it's a great expression. Lay, L-A-Y, it, I-T, on, O-N, me, M-E, lay it on me.
Lay it on me. Lay it on me. So when do we use this expression? When somebody has something serious, maybe not so good to tell you, When somebody has an important question to ask you, when somebody has a problem and they want to explain it to you, you can say, lay it on me.
Lay it on me. Tell me the problem. What is bothering you? What is the problem? I am ready to listen. Check out the dialogue. Um, do you have time right now?
Oh, right. Your new idea. Lay it on me. Well, I think you should make a better website. Oh, I know. It's urgent. Actually, that was the case one year ago.
Let'sMasterEnglish.com was good, but it needed to be better. And boy, oh boy, did I find a couple geniuses to help me out. Max... is the technical brains Santa, the designer behind our website.
It looks fantastic. Oh, we still need to do many things. But I got to tell you, Max and Santa are doing such an excellent job. Miguel and myself, we're working on the content.
We're working hard. And what a great team. And our team is only here because of you. Because you have told me you want this, you want that, you'd like this, you'd like that.
And we listen and we do our best for you. So if you have something to tell us, lay it on me, lay it on us. We're here to listen. If you have an idea, for the website, maybe design, maybe content, maybe, I don't know, operations, something, I don't know.
For example, a couple days ago, we discovered there was a problem with one of the parts of the site. So if you went to letsmasterenglish.com slash app, it didn't work. And that's where you can get our Android app for our podcasts for free.
So on Facebook, one of our fantastic podcasts fans left a message and I'm trying to look up right now who it was, but my internet for some reason is ungodly slow.
It's so slow. I don't know what the problem is. Here we go. Jesse Martinez said, please check this out. She sent a picture. She said, we got a problem here on the site and she laid it on me.
And then I took that problem and I laid it on Max. And now Max is taking care of this problem. So yeah, if there's something that you need to let us know, lay it on me. Lay it on me.
If there's a question that you would like answered, lay it on me. Believe me, I will answer the questions eventually. Believe me, I've got so many questions right now, but we're working on it. Yeah, lay it on me.
It's a great expression. You know, sometimes people have a problem and you're not ready to listen to the problem, to the idea, to the suggestion, to the complaint.
But sometimes you are. And when you are ready, that's when you use this expression. So you can say to your wife, to your boss, to your employee, hey, you had an idea earlier. Hey, you had a problem.
Hey, you wanted to say something to me earlier. Lay it on me. Lay it on me. I'm ready to listen. Check out that dialogue a couple more times. Have a fantastic day.
And together, let's master English. Um, do you have time right now? Oh, right. Your new idea. Lay it on me. Well, I think you should make a better website.
