Enjoy. Let's go back in time. Today's expression, in a huff. In a huff. In a huff. If somebody is in a huff, that means they're angry. They're mad about something.
They're not happy about something. And usually it's something silly. Maybe they were teased or criticized or they felt disrespected. And in that situation, the person goes...
And they walk away. They run away. They go someplace else. Listen to the dialogue and you should be able to understand. Oh, where's Shane going in a huff?
He's mad again. Oh, what'd you do? I told him his jokes weren't funny. And that's true. If you tell me my jokes are not funny, that I'm stupid or that you don't like me, then I go, I don't care.
And I leave. I am off in a huff. I go in a huff. I left in a huff. What about you? It does happen to me. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen making something really delicious like a pecan pie.
It takes me hours and hours and hours to make the pie. And I give some to my mom and she says, oh yeah, did you get this at the supermarket? I leave my mom's house in a huff.
I get so angry. How could you say that, mother? My goodness, is this the quality of the pie from a supermarket? I made it with my own hands. So that's what happened during Thanksgiving.
I gave my mom some homemade pie. She said, wow, did you buy this at the store? And I left in a huff. I was angry. I'm still in an angry. I'm in a huff.
Supermarket pie. Sorry. When was the last time you were in a huff? Did you leave in a huff? Did you go someplace in a huff? Or maybe it was one of your friends.
Or maybe your wife or your husband, your brother, your sister, your girlfriend, your boyfriend. Let me know when the last time somebody or you in your life left in a huff.
And remember, get over it. It doesn't matter. At the end of the day, being in a huff over something small just isn't worth the stress. I need to call my mom.
All right, guys. Check out the dialogue two more times. Oh, where's Shane going in a huff? He's mad again. Oh, what'd you do? I told him his jokes weren't funny.
