In today's episode, we're looking at a short and handy phrase you can use when you want to start with your first point or reason. It's a simple expression, but you'll hear it all the time in natural English.

Let's get into it. Episode 537. Enjoy. Let's go back in time. For starters... For starters is today's expression. To begin with, I want you to study daily dictation.

To begin with, you need to do this. At the beginning, you should do this. The first thing you should do is this. For starters. F-O-R for starters. S-T-A-R-T-E-R-S. For starters.

For starters. In the morning, not so much these days, but when I was younger, I loved to have a big breakfast. So if somebody asked me, Shane, what would you like for breakfast? Well, for starters...

I'd like some pancakes and then some scrambled eggs and some sausage and then I'd like some oatmeal and I'd like some orange juice and milk and then I'd like a biscuit with some strawberry jam and then I'd like some yogurt with blueberries and then I'd like a bowl of cereal with nice cool milk, another orange juice, another glass of milk and then...

A coffee to go. For starters, I'd like some pancakes. At the beginning, the first thing that I want, pancakes. All right. So I want you guys to think about your dinner tonight.

If you could go to a restaurant and order anything you want, how would you do it? Let's check out the dialogue. Oh, my English isn't improving. How are you studying?
