I love this word and I'll give you a warning. This word for many people is not politically correct. So I would be careful if you ever actually used this word. But you will hear it.

Absolutely, you will hear it in comedy shows and movies and stuff like that, TV shows. You will absolutely hear this expression. So the word itself is not bad, but the way we use it is sometimes a little bit dangerous. Enjoy it.

E-Cube number 533. Let's go back in time. Today's expression is a word. It's such a good word. Mental, M-E-N-T-A-L. And this is how we use this word. This word has many usages, but today we're going to learn this.

to achieve something, to be successful at something, to be a winner, you need to have the proper thinking. If your thinking is positive and the chances that you will be successful are much higher.

Sometimes we get lucky. Sometimes we get lucky. We weren't thinking. We were not positive. We were negative. But somehow we're successful. But I'll tell you, people who are successful a lot, people who achieve many things –

In that situation, it means stupid. Politics is stupid. Sports is stupid. So in this conversation, golf is so mental. Golf is so stupid. Many people think golf, G-O-L-F, the sport.

Many people think golf. It's a stupid game. But this guy says, no, it's not. No, it's not mental. It's not stupid. And then he says, but it is. But it is.

Golf is a very mental game. In this case, he's changing the meaning of mental. And he's making it into that thoughtful. Golf is a game that requires physical strength.

but it also requires mental concentration. It requires your mind. It requires positive thinking. It requires visualization. It requires concentration.

It requires your mind to be very focused. Now let me tell you, many of you, well all of you are studying English and many of you have a problem with pronunciation. So pronunciation, the problem is your tongue or maybe your teeth. But believe me, a big problem in pronunciation is mental.

It's your mind. You need to train your mind mentally. in order to improve, in order to perfect your English. You can do it. Pronunciation is physical, but it's also mental.
