Thank you for listening to the EQ Podcast. This is a great expression. This expression is something you will hear in movies. Especially guy movies like war and cops and stuff like that.

But we can use it in real life too. E-Cube number 432. Enjoy it. Let's go back in time. Today we have a great expression to learn. It is take cover. Take cover.

Take cover. T-A-K-E. Take cover. cover c-o-v-e-r what does it mean to take cover to take cover means protect yourself and this expression is perfect in a war if there are bombs coming if somebody's shooting a gun you need to protect yourself you need to cover yourself with something very strong that will protect you you need to take cover

So, of course, in a dangerous situation where there are bombs and guns and whatever, crazy chaos, maybe there's an earthquake you need to take cover. But there's another very common situation. And if you listen to the dialogue, you'll understand. Here we go.

The boss is coming. Take cover. Is he in a bad mood again? You didn't hear? Someone broke his coffee cup. His best boss in the world cup? I used to have a boss who had a coffee cup and the coffee cup said best boss in the world.

And it was a nice cup, but it was always a mystery because we would ask, did you buy the boss that cup? And everybody said no. So nobody bought him the cup.

So the only explanation is he bought the cup for himself. He was at the store. He saw best boss in the world. A coffee cup that said that and he bought it for himself.

Yeah. Well, in this case, somebody broke the cup. The boss will be crazy angry. He's going to want to kill somebody in this situation. Take cover. Oh, yeah.

This is like little kids. Little kids who do something wrong. Here comes mom. Here comes dad. Take cover. They're going to attack us. We're going to be in trouble.

Husbands. If you do something wrong to your wife, maybe you say you will take out the garbage, but you forget. And then you see your wife coming and she looks really, really angry. And then suddenly you remember the garbage.

In that situation, take cover. Take cover. She's going to kill you. So if somebody is really angry and they are looking for you in that situation, you need to take cover.
