How are you? Come on in here. Good to have you here today. Really, really nice to have you. Is it Wednesday? Halfway through there. It's hump day. I was watching TV the other day.

I think the Geico camel showed up again. I haven't seen the Geico camel for such a long time. Today, I want to talk about change. We talk about change a lot around here.

Change is constant. Change always happens. People don't like change, and yet change happens every single day. Most of my job is about change, and my life is about change.

It's figuring out how to change things for the better, and I'm not always good at that. Sometimes I change for the worst first. You ever do that? Happens all the time.

Let's do that today, okay? It is a daily boost from MotivationToMove.com, the positive boost you need every single day. Love having you here today. This is going to be fun.

Just got a text message from Kimberly over in my Face Your Passion group. We have all kinds of resources over there. She says, I can't find the video. I have everything else.

Thank you. I don't want to bother you. It's no problem, man. It's no problem. Sometimes tech happens, and we'll jump in here in a second. When the podcast is done, you'll get your video, okay?

You should join us here. That's kind of a response that people get when they have an issue. They can just contact me and call my team directly. We'd love to have you.

Especially if you're in business or a side hustle, one of the things we've learned over time is that when I say face your passion, that means do the stuff you like to do, but it also means get paid for it. Enjoy what you like to do. Get the stress out of your life. Make a good living doing what you love to do.

That's what we like to do. But we first figure out what things we want to do, and then we've got to make money out of it, right? So if you do that and you want to do that, here's the biggest problem that I have with customers I work with, clients right now.

They get going, they get the dream happening, and then suddenly they can't find customers, they can't find leads, and they can't convert them into a customer. These are two things that happen all the time. I've mastered that.

So in October, what I'm going to do inside my Face Your Passion group at faceyourpassion.com is we're going to work on what I call leads and offers. offer training called leads and offers. And what that is, is about the technique it takes to find new leads so that you can actually grow your passion, build your business, your side hustle, and then the offer, what it takes to actually get them to become your customers. You can live your passion.

Okay. So if you're having trouble with that, I can help you go to face your passion.com, get in on the founder special. We'll start, we'll start very soon. I won't tell you exactly, but it's going to be pretty quick.

Founders rate is going to double here pretty quick. And I don't want you to miss this training either. It's going to be awesome. Go to face your passion.com.

Man. Okay, let's talk about this for a second. You know, the sooner I get to 100 members, the sooner I stop talking about this so much, okay? You got that figured out, right?

Okay. Let's talk about taking a different path in life. Have you thought about that before? Scary, isn't it? Or sometimes it's like, man, it's the most exciting thing I can think of.

Choosing a different path, does it take years to do that? Or does it happen in stages? Does it happen instantly? But it can happen in either. I mean, it just comes out of all different directions.

We never know what it's going to be. And you can force it too. And that's what we'll talk about today. There's one stage that is always present before you actually are successful in making the change.

So one of the joy of doing my work, The joy, hmm. But it's also the worst part, too. It's relationships that I have with thousands of people. What? Did I just say it's bad?

No, it's just people. It happens, you know? Listen, I'm a coach, and that means people lead with their problems. People don't come to me and say, Scott, I'm happy, I'm successful, everything is perfect, let's go!

No, they come to me and say, man, my life is like... So that's what I mean by that. The joy of just working with people kind of to figure things out and get them to lighten up and look in the right direction and change and some weight there as well. So it does put a little bit of, you know, a little pressure on sometimes, but thousands of people over the years, many on a one-on-one basis.

Now, most cases, these people that I work with have decided to move away from their old life. Big generic term, the old thing, whatever it is, the old job, the relationship, whatever. They want to move away and they're heading off in a new direction.

And most have usually begun their journey. And that is when it gets really massively complicated. Trust me. It's really easy to be chatting with chatty.

Don't you like that? I hate to call it chatty. I really do. But we have some people that call it chatty. I said, don't you dare call it chatty. But they're chatting at three o'clock in the morning.

It's so easy to work out your whole journey. Chat did this. Here's the plan. Go do it. Does it all the time. But then you got to get out in the real world and make it happen.

Chat's like, don't look at me, man. I'm in the box. Leave me alone. I don't get out there. That's scary where humans are. Man, complication just happens.

Their decision is to change, and it's usually a result of a repeating behavior that continues to deliver an unwanted result. Did you hear what I said?

They want to change because they're doing something over and over again, and the result they're getting is no longer satisfactory. Now, eventually, you will reach a point where there is no other choice but to consider something different. You know how that works, right?

That's what happens when you wear yourself out, get your ego out of the way, and decide to get moving. Let me go back to that sentence I just said. When you wear yourself out, there is a reason for 20 plus years. Now, I will say you will change when you wear yourself out.

It's almost like I'll sit back and listen to you whine about whatever's going on. When I say you, I'm talking about me too. Okay. I really am. And eventually I'll say, well, you're ready to change yet.

Have you worn yourself out yet? Cause eventually, you know, it's going to happen. It's the, that's it moment. It could be that I'm done moment. You've had it.

You might be looking for it right now. You're kind of looking for an escape hatch, right? That's it. I'm done. I'm out of here. Boom. Change happens. Sometimes it happens to you.

Sometimes you make it happen. It's really an exciting time, actually. I think it's filled with dreams and ideas and energy. I love it when I get an idea and I decide that's it.

Done. Here I go. Freedom happens in an instant. But it can be confusing, which is why I talk to so many people in that time of life. As you kind of seek to find a combination of thoughts and actions that will create your success, you need to build a roadmap.

And that's your top priority, right? And that takes a little patience to get there. We can do a lot overnight. Most times when I talk to people, it could be on the podcast, happens here every single day.

Could be in my Face Your Passion group. Could be a personal call. There is always a little bit of a transformation. There's always a little bit of forward motion.

Always. And once you get a little taste of it, because we all want it overnight, right? Everything you want, you want to happen overnight. But wouldn't you be okay if you just made progress?

That's what most people want. So everybody wants the instant gratification, but the truth is, is like, you know what? I know I need to lose a hundred pounds and that's what I want, but I lost two pounds this week. That's awesome.

It takes a little patience, but one day you realize you haven't achieved your goal. that you are going for, and nobody has given you the answer you seek. Maybe I didn't even give you the answer you seek. No matter how well-meaning me or anybody else is, I'm not able to dial in and give you the answer you're looking for.

We can't always do that, right? And frustration will be your friend right then. You will almost give up sometimes. You might even blame it on me. Happens all the time.

You didn't help me figure this out. Maybe not. Maybe I did. Maybe you didn't hear it. I don't know. Maybe I gave you a stupid answer. I have no idea. But you find yourself mad sometimes, mad as hell, and you're not one to take it anymore.

And then magic happens. When you understand that the only person who can answer your dreams and give you your dreams is you, your dreams become real. When you understand that, your energy surges, you find yourself with all the motivation you ever need to create whatever life you want, whatever change you want to happen, no matter what you've been waiting for, no matter how many years it's been.

You will break free from whatever is holding you back. You will decide that you can't go back to where you were. You won't. There's nothing that can hold you back.

Your time will arrive. It happens all the time. Most of what I do when I'm working with people is to hand it back to you. It's graduation day. When I work with you, my goal is, I hate to say this, but it's just true.

I get fired all the time. You know why I get fired? Not because I did a bad job. Brittany just told me last week, she said, you did your job too good, man.

And she's going to stick with me probably, but she, I did, I just, I got her, got myself fired. What happened was, and I mentioned her name and I'm proud of what she's done and she'll be okay with that.

What happened was I got her to take control. Oh, what's the first thing she did? Fire me. It happens. It's okay. So what happens in this process? Well, since the journey is not the destination, right?

You kind of begin to embrace the steps and you kind of, you're kind of okay taking the long way along the way. You kind of start getting what you want today and even more tomorrow. It kind of never stops.

It just keeps on going. Frustration is your friend. What you're going to realize if you have big dreams and you stand up and you take a step and you repeat, you're going to realize that it's just, you know, it's kind of a never quit attitude.

You're just going to lean in. You know why? Because you said, that's it. I'm done. I'm out of here. I can't go back. I'm not going to go back. Nothing can make me go back, back, back, back, back, back, back.

I'm going to stand up. I'm going to take a step. I'm going to repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. That's what I'm going to do. The world's simplest success recipe.

I'm going to create the life that I say I want because I'm the only one that can do it. I'm the boss of me and I've been lying to myself for too long counting on other people to make me who I need to be.

You are already meant to be a certain person. You already have all the skill set and everything you need to get there. All you have to do is accept it. See you tomorrow and at faceyourpassion.com.
