Meine Zehen bringen mich um. Diese Schuhe sind viel zu eng. Trägst du immer noch diese spitzen Dinger? Ich meine, sind nicht alle Laufschuhe so geformt?
Nein, du brauchst Altras. Altras? Altras sind geformt wie deine Füße. Mit einer fußförmigen Zehenbox. Einfach viel bequemer. Bezwinge deinen Lauf mit Hallenzehen.
Okay, das klingt traumhaft. Mehr Komfort, Kraft und Dynamik. Alles durch die Passform. Altra versteht das einfach. Altra, stay out there. So today I want to take you down a road of you doing more of what you like to do, if that's okay.
I'm going to toss in your lap a challenge that I want you to do today and maybe tomorrow or the next day as well. If you do this, I promise something, you're going to feel more fulfilled and more in control. It's going to feel counterintuitive when I tell you about it, but you're going to go, wow, pretty easy. Give it a try, okay?
It is a daily boost from MotivationToMove.com, the positive boost you need every single day. Today, we are going to face your passion and make it happen. Listen, you're the boss. Are you okay?
You're the boss of you. And here's, I'm the boss of me too. And here's what I do. Okay. I'll use me as an example. Some days I say, you know, Scott, are you talking to me?
You know, Scott, I think I'm going to do this today. I'm going to go to the gym or I'm going to make more money or say, I love you to my wife or whatever. I'm going to do this today. And then you don't do it.
And you beat yourself. Man, I said I was going to do it. And then one day you go, yeah, but I'm the boss of me. I can do what I want to do. That's the problem.
You have control over yourself. All I want you to do is to look at your day and say, hey, wake up. Get out of the zone that most people are in and say, okay, I'm living life. I'm busy, right?
But I want you to pay attention a little bit to how you might make it exactly what you want it to be, and that's what we're going to do today. Hey, Scott Smith on Instagram. People get so surprised when I shoot a note back. I actually wired it up, so it's wired.
It's right in front of me, and I do respond to you very quickly, so feel free to do that. Thursday, I open up my community, Face Your Passion. I talk more about it on Friday, but I will tell you today...
So, if you want to be part of this, right now, go to faceyourpassion.com and put your name and your email address in. I'm asking you to do that because if you want to be part of the founding group and save half, up front, $49. After 100 people, $99. Full of transparency.
If you want to do that, then give me your information at faceyourpassion.com. I will send you a note saying, hey, doors are open for an hour. Go get signed up. Maybe we'll fill in that hour.
Maybe we won't. If we don't, I'll do it one more time, no more than twice. At that point, we open at 10 o'clock on Thursday morning and you go for it. So this is for people that are really thinking you want to be part of it.
No contract, cancel any time. If you do stay, you keep that founder's price as long as you're a member, as long as you want to. Okay, totally up to you. Try to be as fair as I can here.
All right, let's do this thing. This is kind of weird for a lot of people in thinking this way. So in my philosophy of life and how I live, I take a very common sense approach.
I just kind of figure, if I know what I like to do, that's a really good thing. And a lot of people can't say that. If you know what you like to do for work or for play or whatever, I mean, if I know what I like to do, that's a good thing to begin with. And so common sense kicks in again.
The Scott Lodge comes back around and go, okay, if I know what I like to do, then I should do it. Because if I do what I like to do, life should be better, right? I mean, that's a caveman common sense right there.
But it's amazing to me how many people spend years knowing what they'd like to do if they're lucky enough to know it, and they don't do it. And as a guy who's coached tens of thousands of people, I'm very, very often, every single week, saying, well, why aren't you doing it? I mean, you said you wanted to do it. Yeah, I know.
Life got in the way. I get it, man. So that's my basic Scott logic, that if I know what I like to do, presuming you do, and I do it, I'm going to be happier, right? So I broke that into my passions.
I said, well, there are certain things in my life I'm passionate about. Passion means you just have interest in. That's all it is. It's not romantic passions, except on the weekends sometimes.
Not every weekend. I'm old now. That's enough of that. Yes, every weekend because I'm a superhuman. Six passion zones is what I call that. So follow my logic here.
And this is your assignment for today. You have personal passions in your life. Things that you like to do. You like to cook. You like to go to the gym.
I don't know. Buy clothes. Read stories to your kids. You have things that you're personally passionate about. Personal things just to you. Some of them you'll never tell us about.
But they're important to you. If you did one of those things today... Would you be happier? Yeah. If you wait the whole week for the weekend and then you do them then, you're happy for Saturday but not the rest of the week.
You have purposeful passions. There are things that you do on purpose. For instance, maybe you'd like to volunteer and you purposely make sure you make time for that. Maybe you would like to go to church on the weekend and you make time to go to church.
You choose to do it on purpose because it means something to you. Does it make sense to you that if every day That you looked at what you like to do on purpose and just did a little bit of it. That you'd be happier.
Yeah. I broke it down into connection passions. I'm happier when I connect with people. Not a lot. I like to spend a lot of time on my own thinking too.
But if I just spend time on my own, I'm not happy. I have to connect with people. That's why I take walkabouts. That's why I do coaching. So I can connect with people.
I'm a human. Doesn't make sense if every single day, since I know I need to connect with people to be happy, that I would reach out and connect with somebody. And this is a cool one, too, because you can decide how you want to feel based on who you connect with. Need some support?
Connect with somebody that gives you support. Need some love? Connect with that person. Spiritual passions.
Einfach viel bequemer. Bezwinge deinen Lauf mit Hallenzehen. Okay, das klingt traumhaft. Mehr Komfort, Kraft und Dynamik. Alles durch die Passform. Altra versteht das einfach.
Altra, stay out there. Something you're spiritual about? You're a universal person? Universal spiritualist kind of thing? Or are you a person who believes in God?
Do you do a little bit every single day? It makes a difference. It does. If you just take a couple of minutes. I coined this a couple of years back. I talked to my pastor the other day and I said, man, I got my Jesus talk.
He said, what do you mean your Jesus talk? I said, I walk out the front door. I said, morning, Jesus. A little contemplation, a little thought while I walk the dogs.
It's kind of been cool for me. It's just my little itty bitty thing. If nothing else happens, I can pay attention to the bigger part of life. So I do it.
You do what you want to do. How about abundance fashions? There are certain things that you just want more of, right? You want more money. You want more love.
You want more clothes. You want another car. I don't know what it is. There's something in your life. Abundance. This could actually be probably put into maybe your financial life.
Maybe you'd like to trade a little bit more. I mean, stock market's going to do something here eventually. It's going to happen, right? It's going to start rolling again.
That's what it does. It goes up. And with AI and everything and the economy and the capitalization of economy and the portion of the economy of this capital base is changing in the next five years, it's a good time to have some money in the markets, man.
So maybe today you spend a little bit of time paying attention to the abundance part of your life. And something that for this group, for you guys listening, is what I call legacy passions. Now, legacy is interesting to me because I don't think legacy is, a lot of legacy would be when you die, this is what your legacy was, right? That's what a lot of people think about it.
I don't think about it like that. I don't think you do either. I don't really care when I'm dead. When I'm dead, it's going to be like 32 seconds and you're going to forget about me anyway.
So I don't really worry about that. So I consider a legacy more of a living legacy. It's more, what am I doing every single day that people know me for? That they know that's who Scott is.
I never knew that my living legacy would be doing a podcast. I had no idea. That was not the plan, guys. And yet here I am with no plan of slowing down.
And if you've listened to me for a while, you know there was a time just a couple of years ago when I was like, am I done with this thing yet? And after a little growth and contemplation, I thought, no, I'm not done yet. I'm going to keep doing it because it's become who I am in so many ways. You're going to vary over time, but what is that for you?
Let me go through them again so you've got these. Remember the framing here. It's just silly Scott logic. We're not going to be serious about this at all.
I'm just going to say this is what it is. It just makes sense. Caveman Common Sense. If you do something you like every single day, something you've identified is good for you, you're going to be happier and more successful if you do that.
Personal passions, purposeful passions, connection passions, spiritual passions, abundance passions, legacy passions. There are six of them. Now, people have said to me, Scott, I have 10 personal passions. Do I have to do them every single day?
No, you don't have to. Nobody's going to do it. Don't be stupid. I really mean that clearly. Just because you have a list of 10 things you think make you happy doesn't mean you need to do them every single day.
Take the simple logic of this. Just doing a couple of things. If you have 100 things a day that drive your passion and you do three of them, you're going to be so happy versus not doing them. Because what ends up happening is people get caught up in their life.
They're caught up in taking care of their kids or their job or traffic or AI or the cost of everything these days. You get caught up in that and you forget to kind of dial into who you are.
And suddenly you turn 65 years old and you're like, oh, now it's my turn. And then you have a heart attack and you die. What happens? I live in Florida.
We see it all the time, man. I'm here. Yay. I escaped the great north. Now it's my turn to live. Check out. I am not kidding. I've seen it way too many times.
Start today, guys. That's my mantra. Start today. Start moving. Stay moving. Hey, that's good. I should use that more. I'm not having too much fun. I'll see you tomorrow.
Let's do it again, okay? FaceYourPassion.com Put your info there so I can get you in the group and save you some money, okay?
